Target's big toy clearance got me thinking! I wasn't really impressed by it though (only cause my kids aren't into what they clearanced out anyway).
A local mom owned shop had a big sale recently, too. So - embarrassingly - I do have some things put away. Ha!

Yes I got DS his first train set, and DD a puzzle tile thing from Prime Day...and I had placed an Usborne order that I just put aside for Christmas.

Yes, all of her Christmas and birthday gifts (March) are bought. I'm a planner. We also do want/need/wear/need so it's easy.

Nope, I mean, I have some stuff stashed, like small cars, stickers, games, but those are mostly for good behaviour rewards.
I won't start thinking about what my son wants for Christmas until the Toys R Us catalog comes out and he goes through it.

Yes, I have an art easel for LO1 and a dream blanket for LO2 stashed away. Not sure if they will be Christmas or birthday since they both have end of year birthdays.

Our neighbor just gave us a play kitchen, so that's stashed away for Christmas. Other than that, we have nothing. I'll start slowing picking stuff up over the next few months. We do want/need/wear/read, so it's relatively simple. The kitchen will probably be A's want, and then I'll get some food/dishes as her need.

Not yet...I have a birthday to get through first. But I'm planning on buying a Nod chair for A in the next month or so and saving it until Christmas (it will likely be her only gift from us) and I have a list of things to get as they come available (books that haven't been published yet).

Sigh, I can't buy gifts ahead because I get too excited and have to give them right away! I seriously have a problem! So I wait until end of October/beginning on November and then wrap them RIGHT AWAY so that way I'm less tempted! The "gift creep" is strong over here

Target Cartwheel has 20% off Lego City Fire sets. He has been eyeing the fire station for awhile. I might just go ahead and get it and stash it away for his big present.

A couple things, a game from Prime day and an Ikea train set (since we were there buying furniture). I have them stashed away for either her birthday (Oct) or Christmas.

Yup! I have a tricycle for her September birthday and a play kitchen for christmas, plus books for both. I also have maybe half her stocking stuffers. We have a limited budget so I work hard throughout the year to stretch it.

@LuLu Mom: I'm the same way, I'm too impatient and want to see her enjoy the gifts right away! Like, I bought lo a little farm set for prime day (barn, animals, truck, little fences) and I could have saved it-- she'll still be into that in December, and probably be able to create more detailed imaginary play scenarios with it then than now-- but I wanted to see her play with it now, lol

Lego Elves set because the main character shares DD's name. A bunch of Mini Chou Chou dolls since they're discontinued and on sale (super adorable and DD loves them). Sylvanian family accessories and I also have a few long hoarded Mooshka rag dolls that I scored for 80% off.

I have a shelf in a closet full of stuff. Most of it is little things I plan to pull out to get me through the last two months of being pregnant (now until mid Sept) but some might be Christmas, some stuff he is not ready for yet.
I also cycle toys, so some of that stuff had been seen before but i am waiting to bring it out again, a few months in the closest is almost like new again at this age.
