Knee pain (8mpp). Not nearly as bad as when I was pregnant, but I gained 70 lbs with all the swelling from preeclampsia, so I think that had something to do with it. I'm still nursing & pumping with no free time, but hoping when I get a chance to do some real, regular exercise it will improve!

i think i'm permanently incontinent. Jumping up and down, running, general exercise all makes me go! I have to wear a pad every time i exercise.

@blackbird: I had a consult with a urologist but all she referred me to was a nurse to teach me how to do kegels. I never went again because that's not what I wanted. I would have liked to try the pelvic floor therapy.

No lingering effects here. Mother of 2. Other than the scar from my c sections

@Mrs. Pen: My dr told me kegels aren't even that effective b/c they only work certain muscles, not all the ones that need to be worked! Would your OB refer you? I think they can just write an Rx for so many weeks of treatment....i'm not sure. I know my GI doctor wanted me to see someone for constipation issues so I have a couple of reasons to get stuff straightened out. But i hate peeing myself.

Hip pain that bother me in my last pregnancy and didn't go away until several months after I weaned and got a great message and the therapist did something to my hip, it hurt a bit but then was like sweet relief. Unfortunately it's back with my current pregnancy. I would have occasional urinary issues after my first PG but they are bad now, I can't cough or sneeze without an issue. Thank god for Poise Liners. I hope it goes away after this Pregnancy, but my mom and sister have major issues, but they had big babies so I'm praying that this one is small like my last one.

I had some injection site pain for about 8 months PP with LO from my epidural and then C-section medication. Other than that, I was pretty good until I got pregnant again! I feel a whole lot more achy than I did last time...

I had a ton of lower back pain for about the first 18 months. Then I finally went to see a chiropractor and she got me all straightened out. As long as I keep exercising it doesn't bother me. As soon as I stop for any length of time it flares back up and I have to get readjusted.

@blackbird: yeah my doctor told me that too- she said squats are better for pelvic floor strengthening. God knows I do plenty of those actually she did refer me to a pelvic floor specialist, but then it was one of those deals where I could only see the specialist if I got a direct referral from their in-house urologists. So it was a big round about and then I didn't even get that referral.

I always feel pain after sex now. Feels like a rock weighing down on top my lady parts and I must lie down for at least ten minutes.

15 months postpartum after my second, and no lingering issues! I didn't realize the coughing/ jumping and peeing thing was so common-- I feel pretty lucky that's not an issue after 2 babies.
One weird thing I have noticed, that could be totally unrelated, is my legs fall asleep easier when I sit on the floor, since having babies.
