Not really a tradition but it is something we do. When they ILs were here we hung out every Sunday. Now that MIl is back she comes over every Sunday except when she's sick.

Yup, we do Sunday morning pancakes with dad and stepmom. We have been for years. It helps that we live right across the street!

Not really, but we do see our families almost weekly. I wouldn't love having weekly dinners because sometimes I need a break.

Sunday dinner at my in-laws. Thursday is grandparents night with my parents. They take my lo and pup to dinner and dh and I get date night.

Before we moved overseas we went to the ILs every Sunday night for paella. Yum.

My mom is the only family I have close by (45 minutes away). She tried to do the Sunday dinner thing, but it was forced and did not last long. DH usually has a lot of work to do on the weekend and really could not be bothered at home entertaining or going to visit her commute plus the visit was too long. Now on Sunday mornings we go for a long walk together before I go to Spinning class. I think she prefers the one on one time with me anyway.

Nothing now, but growing up Sunday always meant a big spaghetti dinner!!
