Thinking about putting these batman decals in Charlie's room. I think with an all black and white room, it could look really modern even if it is superhero themed!

My dad makes things like that & he did LO'S name on her wall. I love it! & they are pretty easy to apply. We also have some non-vinyl removable flower decals but one of the flowers keeps peeling off on its own 
otherwise, I like them!

Yup, we have used decals many times and they look great. Easy to remove when we wanted to.

Not in LO's nursery, but I have them at my office (i work with kids). They're great! Easy to apply, easy to remove.

I have alphabet decals in LO's room. Go on easy. There were some decals in my room when we bought the house and it took some paint off when we removed them. So, use at your own risk.

We have an all black map of the world - I love the way it looks but it was a bitch to put on! Mostly because its a mix of big and tiny pieces.

We put up a massive wall of decals.. White birch trees and little pink birds. It looks adorable! Go for it!

No decals in DS's room, but a friend of mine put up a big ole tree with birds and everything. She said it was a nightmare to put up because trying to line up the various pieces to form one tree took forever, especially if you're a perfectionist. However, once it was done, it looked really good! Her daughter is 4 now and it still looks great!

We just put some up a couple weeks ago in the nursery! Not the best picture because the crib now has a skirt on it, but you can see the decals. Kind of annoying to put up 200 stars - but only took a couple hours for 2 people to do it. And we love the result!

We have a tree with flowers and birds and all up in LO's room. Took me a couple of hours to do but I love it.

Yep decals in ds nursery. They lasted 18 months before they started peeling in some parts. We probably wont use them again.

@Mrs. Bee: my husband makes decals at work, so some tips .... clean the wall with a damp sponge to remove dust and lint from the walls. This helps to really get a good stick. Peel a little at a time and slowly and gently pull off the rest while someone else squeejee's the decals onto the wall to get rid of air bubbles. Air bubbles are a decal's worst nightmare.
And if you want to reuse them, buy transfer sheets. That way you can reuse the decals.

I prefer stenciling to decals. Easier and quicker if you're doing a large area!

My DD's room is plastered with Dora and princesses (both gifts). It doesn't work so great since we have popcorn finish on the wall.. not a fan but what can you do.

We used Urban Walls decals in lo's nursery. Not sure why but I never took a picture without the chalk lines.
I love the Batman decals and was considering adding them to lo's big boy room.

i love the decals esp if they are easily removable/re-usable and there's so many scenes/characters, they've come a long way from when I was looking for something like this when my LO was born in 2010, i couldn't really find anything like this without spending a lot of money back then. now my 4 YO has an elsa (overlaid on a farmhouse theme we did for her nursery, i know it's not the frozen environment but i wasn't about to repaint her room), and for my 2nd one, we did an under the sea theme, and got all these fish/sea life decals.

I had been eyeing the Lion King themed nursery set from Toys R Us since before LO was born and I finally decided to go for it when I came across a set of cheap but cute Lion King decals. LOVE them! I plan on using the same theme for LO#2 (and I am not even TTC yet, lol).

For anyone interested this is the shop we got them through...they were awesome! Sent me a free booklet with sample colors when I asked about purchasing a sample, and were super helpful/accommodating
