Yeah! We didn't at our old house and it was never an issue. We don't mind sharing because we don't share sink time lol I get ready in the morning and all he needs to do is brush his teeth. Now with our double sinks I just have room to spread all my crap out

Ugh. We don't! We have been house hunting lately and a house we looked at last night has 2 full counters with their own sink and mirror. Awesome place! It also had a HUGE closet that it called a "dressing room". Alas, we crunched the numbers and decided it isn't in our budget, unless we don't want to vacation again for the next 30 years

We do. but half the time DH uses mine and doesn't clean it out and it drives me INSANE!

Yup but we used to share one and it wasn't a problem. Only thing I hated about sharing was he always blew his nose in the sink or cough up a loogie and didn't always rinse it down well. So nasty!!

@prettylizy: We have separate bathrooms too! We actually have two full bathrooms in our master bedroom. There is a small hall off the end of our bedroom and there are his/her closets and his/her bathrooms. I LOVE IT!

We don't even have a master bathroom. We have a bathroom with a small pedestal sink. Master bath w/2 vanities is on our "must have" list for the next house!

Yes! This was a must for me when house shopping! I hated sharing a sink with DH and it provides extra vanity space!

We don't have a house yet, but my dream house sure has double sinks! And a soaking tub and separate shower.

We have double sinks in our master and it's probably a marriage-saver....I am a toothpaste-globber and it drives DH nuts! He always tells me to stay away from his sink and keep my globs to myself!
