We don't. DH and I don't want to eat at 530

It has only been possible recently, with LO eating around 6:15/6:30 and going to bed later. Otherwise, we'd have to eat after he goes to bed at 8, and then by the time I cleaned up from our dinner it would be almost time for me to go to bed! So we try to eat with him now.

Yes. We eat around 5:30, right after DH gets home from work. We eat an early lunch, so I am usually hungry by then anyway.

95% of the time - yes. I get hungry early so dinner time around 6 works for me. It gets pushed back to 6:30/7 if we're having dinner with friends, but DS will eat with us then. He might have a snack/light dinner earlier if we're having a later dinner.

No DH works til midnight, and I feed DS in his high chair while I try to cook my dinner as quickly as I can.

We eat together every night as a family at the dinner table. The exception is if DH and I aren't hungry yet... We cook for Chloe and still sit as a family!
When my brother and sister lived locally, we had Sunday dinner at my parents house. It isn't often, but the three of us will have Sunday dinner with my parents!

@grizz: UGH. My DH is on the same schedule. IT"S SO HARD. and SO HARD is an understatement.

Yep almost every night around 6. LO gets really upset if we are not both there or if one of us gets up before dinner is over... Some nights I miss TV and lap desks haha!

We all sit at the table but she's the only one who eats (since it's so early). We do family breakfasts on the weekend.

Yup but it didn't happen until her bedtime was later.

We eat as a family of four on Mon-Wed. I eat (or just sit) with the girls the rest of the week,

No. DH does not get home until 7pm or later during the week. LO is often in bed between 6:45 and 7:30pm most nights.

We do. We eat at 5:30. I finish Crossfit at 5. I WANT TO EAT. I also eat at noon and 3:00, so....

No, but LO is only 18 months. Once he is older - around 3, I will start doing this. Right now, trying to eat at the same time as him is a messy horror show so DH and I make dinner for us together after LO goes to bed with a glass of wine.
eta: DH and I have a glass of wine with cooking / eating dinner - we do not send LO to bed with a glass of wine

We all eat dinner at 6 or 6:30. Bedtime routine starts at 7:30. I only cook one meal, so we all eat when it's fresh!

Yes since most days it's just me and LO. We have dinner at 6-6:30pm. On the days DH is home he joins in on the fun

@Aimed: haha i just laughed out loud. i bet all babies would go to sleep a lot easier if they went to bed with a glass of wine. i know it helps me!

Sometimes we do. I like when we can all sit down and I'll take turns feeding D bites and feeding myself. But sometimes the timing doesn't work out and we need to cook dinner while I'm feeding him. Then DH and I eat together and D plays.
I did tell DH that as of tomorrow when we move I want to stop eating on the couch and eat at the table.

Yes, DH really hated eating at 5:30 too but i felt really strongly about eating together. Lately dinners have moved to 6-6:30pm and it works better that way.
