I started jogging recently, but not in good running shoes. I actually bought some last year but can't find them... hopefully they turn up soon, because I probably shouldn't be running in these sneaker-y shoes!

Yes! After I had my son I invested in some Asics - about $80? And they have been worth it. I think a huge reason I hated running was the pain - these have really minimized feet and ankle pain. And I've had them for two years and they still look great... now, I'm not a consistent runner so that is a contributing factor - and I don't run outside much where they would get more worn.

Yes. I am a stickler about having good running shoes. Plus, if I spend a lot on my shoes, I am guaranteed to run in them and get my money's worth!

Yes and no - I have great, specially fitted shoes, but they have enough miles that they need to be replaced. We have an awesome local store that fits them after recording your gait on a treadmill program. Its a free service they offer.

My shoes were great (they just got me through a half marathon!), but I need to buy a new pair soon. I've been running in them for over 2 years and they're not quite as supportive as they once were. I really want the Brooks Glycerin 12 when they come out this summer!

Yes, BUT I do not get new ones very often. I wear Adidas Adiprene for outside runs - love them, super light and shape to your foot. For the treadmill I wear Vibrams.
