Ever since I was in 8th grade and my mom told me I couldn't get fake nails, I have grown my own long nails. But when LO came I was afraid of scratching her so I cut them off. I kind of like them short now.

No, I have short nails. They tend to break or chip if I get too long.

I used to have long nails in high school and college but now I keep them as short as possible.

They're short right now. But get long fairly quickly. I like short nails when I have colored nail polish. I like french when they are long. I want to enjoy manicures for the next 8 months, since I probably will keep my nails short and polish free once LO is here.

Mine are short. I don't know why but it drives me crazy when they start to get long! Every now and then I'll decide that I want to let them grow so they'll be pretty, but I can't stand doing everyday tasks with long nails. Sigh.

Mine have grown like weeds since becoming pregnant. It is a struggle to keep them at a decent length, but they are pretty (and so strong). I constantly file them down to keep them at functional length. Normally, I keep them finger-tip length (or a little below) and neutral.

I hate having long nails. I like them to be neat, manicured, and short.

They are not too long but definitely shorter than I used to keep them because I don't want to scratch the LO either.

I cut mine super short. I used to have really pretty and healthy long nails.. so impractical with a LO though!

I keep them very short - I think I can get away with more interesting polishes without looking.. idk, trampy?

Mine grow really easily so they usually grow to a mid length when I usually trim them back a little or they get caught on stuff.

I keep them short too, I hate hearing the clack-clack when typing. I also rock brighter polish on shorter nails, looks classier IMO.
