Vintage luggage would be an awesome collection

yes! it was important to me that when we got married that we had matching family luggage, why i'm not sure! but we have high sierra wheeled duffles of different sizes & carry ons. they're green. i think we have like 6 pieces... maybe i went overboard, but i wanted our kids to have luggage from the same set and it's an unusual color/style so i wasn't sure we'd find something that matched later =D

ETA: here's a pic, sorry, we were opening a lot of packages when we got these so there's quite a mess in the background! but i love them, they have wheels, turn into a backpack, and can be carried like a duffle! they're AWESOME!

Lol no, we don't even really have suitcases, just some duffel bags and a garment bag.

My parents gave me a matched set (2 suitcases and a carry-on) for my 21st birthday but the bigger suitcase just bit the dust on our last vacation. So now we only have the smaller one. I also bought a smaller suitcase that I use for business travel.

I got a matching set for my HS graduation. It's all black, so I'm looking for ways to make it stand out at the airport.

We have a matching set, though I prefer to use my mismatched bags... they're annoying prints, so it makes them easier to spot in baggage claim!

@anonysquire: Salvation Army!! Same as you, it was like $1-5 per piece. I especially loved the vanity case. I used to be a thrift store queen! DH totally doesn't appreciate second hand style

@mrs. bird: okay maybe not identical but close! Ours are from Belks. DH got the final say and he liked the dufflebag ness.

Ours don't match. We have a giant red bag that we share. My DH's carry on suitcase is orange and mine is from Vera Bradley and is black and yellow.

@ms.janedoe: i had the gray on our wedding registry! very nice! i saw the green at TJX and decided to go that route just because it was a bit less $$ and i liked that it would be easy to find in the airport. but it is still not your standard shape so i bet you have no problem finding your gray either! we love that you can throw it on your back to go up escalators, so much easier! also, they can fit soooo much in them! and we can nest them to store. i'm very happy with them, obviously =)
