I'm relatively young (25) and many of my friends do not have children and won't any time soon. I've reconnected with a handful of girls from high school who have babies, but it's not a super-close, talk on the phone constantly type of thing.
I feel like I have lots of friends through hellobee - a couple in particular I feel super close with 
- but I totally wish I could have that in-person, also-a-mom best friend!

I have one friend I see regularly who has a baby. Then I have some friends online who have babies.

One of my best friends is a mom, but she's out of town. I have started seeing a group of old friends I used to work with - we reconnected through our birth classes, when we found out we were all expecting the same month. We try to meet up about once a week, or so. However, they're all returning to work, while I'm staying home for the first year, so I anticipate being a little lonely in the coming month.

My 2 closest girlfriends have babies so its nice to be able to talk about mom things with them. I have a handful of more casual friends who also have babies and we arrange moms nights sometimes which is fun.

None of my close friends have kids yet, but I've gotten close with some moms who live nearby through classes and things. It's a little strange because our whole friendships are based on our kids, but it's really nice to have friends going through the same things that i am.

Not really. There's a local bee I'm friends with but other than her...nope. I need more mom friends! I almost gave my dental hygienist my number today because she is pregnant and we were talking about baby stuff! Sigh.

A friend of mine had her first baby a month ago, but she lives an hour away--we're going to try to do our best to plan at least monthly get togethers to help us stay connected (my baby is due next week).
And my best friend from high school has two kids, but lives several states away!

I have a few that I've made while on mat leave. Two are other HBers!
Most of my friends have babies the same age as mine, but none of us live close together.

I've met several people though online mom groups throughout my mat leave and the ones I see the most/am closest with are from HB! All my friends who have kids live in my hometown or one friend's kid is a year old than mine so she went back to work full time as soon as I had LO.

@sorrycharlie: have you checked for local facebook groups? there was a group in my neighborhood that a mom just started on her own. she really got it going organizing meetups etc. i've gone to a few of them and stay in touch with a couple of moms from there, which is nice because they live close by.

A few. Some are more like acquaintances and it's hard to get close with them since we are in similar places in our lives but some graduated high school when I was a baby which makes me feel...super inexperienced compared to them.

A couple, but none yet that I see on a regular basis. My BFF lives half way across the country, but her dd and mine are just 18 days apart in age. I wish we saw eachother more!

I really only have my sil! None of my other friends have babies yet and won't anytime soon. I'm planning to enrol LO at playcenter in term 1 next year so hopefully I'll get some mommy friends! LO needs some baby friends too.

I feel lucky to have met a lot of really nice new friends since having C - very few are the talk-on-the-phone type, but I see most of them weekly at different play groups.

But none of my pre-baby friends are moms...yet. So it took quite a bit of work over the past 2 years or so (starting mid pregnancy) to get to where I am now.

My closest mommy friends are my cousins and I feel very lucky. My best friends' kids are much older since I became a mommy a little bit later than they did. But we go to all the birthday parties to show our love and support.
