I am really good at swallowing large pills. Too bad this skill is totally useless, except when I'm taking giganto vitamins or something.
Do you have problems swallowing big pills?

I never used to, but I do now.
My husband takes some crazy horse pills for his work outs and stuff, I honestly wonder how he does it.

I have no problem with it. I used to take daily vitamin packs that had around 7 pills in them and I could swallow all of them at one time.

Nope, I'm good at it! There was a point in first tri where I started to lose my gift; I think it was a combination of sensitive gag reflex + having to take a crapload of pills each day (2 vitamins, progesterone, zofran...maybe that's all, felt like a lot though)

I am so bad with any type of pill..
I can't have anyone "looking" at me (I feel too much pressure) and normally I choke/ look like a bird regurgitating food :\
its awkward.

I used to be fairly good at it-- regular sized vitamins were never an issue and I could swallow small pills like tylenol dry if need be. Since being pregnant, though, my gag reflex is in overdrive. Luckily I take three small prenatals instead of one big-- I usualyl gag on at least one of them. Dry heaves are my only ab exercise these days.

I always have problems swallowing large pills. Prenatal vitamins are the worst. It's all in my head though--I choked on a piece of ice when I was little and ever since then I feel like I'm going to choke when I swallow them. It's getting slightly better because of pregnancy/breastfeeding.

I'm getting much better. I used to be horrible at taking any pills, big or small.

Am terrible with pills. I finally learned to tilt my head back just a little, which opens everything up.

Nope. I struggled at first to learn how to take pills in general when I was younger.

@REESE: HA! Ditto. Even advil sometimes ;/ I've even had nightmares about pills stuck in my throat.

I don't have any trouble. My DH does. He hates pills.

Nope, I'm good at it! Although, I took some vitamins a while back that I had to take with applesauce... I could NOT get them down!

Nope, I can take pills without a problem. I'm such a baby if I have to take liquid medicine though!

I could only gag down (and subsequently vomit back up) all pills from huge prenatals to tiny sudafed until this past year. I had a neck spasm and couldn't move my head at all for five days straight. In order to swallow the painkillers (I was preggo so I couldn't take muscle relaxers!) I had to learn how to swallow them with water I sipped thru a straw.

Sometimes, but I always have to take with water. DH takes his vitamins every night just dry and I have no idea how he does it.

Ugh, I'm terrible at taking pills! Advil I sometimes struggle with and anything bigger than that, forget about it. I've found taking a pill with soda or orange juice makes it marginally easier, but I still can't swallow anything large. Thank goodness for chewable vitamins!

Yes, I'm horrible with swallowing them! I have found that taking them with almond milk helps them go down faster.

I'm a boss at swallowing pills, I don't even need water most of the time.
