We used to have a guest room.... but it's currently being made into LO's big girl room so the new baby can have a nursery. We very rarely have guests stay here anyway. Both of our parents are close by so if family comes they stay with them. If anyone really wants to stay with us..... they can have the couch or an air mattress.

Yep, we have a guest room with a full size bed in it. We've got another room that has a couch and enough room for a blow up mattress if we needed.

Yep, we have one guest room. We will have to finish the basement for a new one once we have #2.

We have a guest room with a twin bed, but I also have a permanent guest who lives there (my younger sister). When I do have guests come over, they usually just sleep on the couch.

Not anymore!!! We have a four bedroom house and with LO#3 on the way, our guest room isn't going to be around much longer
I don't know what we will do when parents come, but my siblings will probably get an air mattress on the ground in the game room (which doesn't offer much privacy, but oh well!)

At this moment, kind of. C is sleeping in the RnP in our room and we have a queen bed in her nursery. So my mom is staying with us now, and mil next week, in the nursery and I have to go I there to get C's stuff but the changing pad is in our room for the time being.
Once she is sued to sleeping in her own room her sleep takes priority and guests can sleep in the living room on an air mattress. It was nice having a guest room for the couple of months bf she was born but it would make sense to pay so much more for a bigger place.

Yup. When my whole family comes my DH does end up sleeping on the couch. IF my whole family comes my mom sleeps in our bed with me.
One room: older bro, SIL in one bed. Nephew in PnP, Niece in a twin bed
Another room: Bro, with 2 nephews
DH and doggie in aerobed in family roomIf need be we can also put up an aerobed in lr.
ETA: that was a large decision in buying a 4 bedroom house.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: usually for a weekend but this weekend they are coming for a week. But only my one brother, mom and nieces and nephews are coming. I think the arrangement for this weekend will be my mom with me, nieces and nephew (3 of them) in the full in one bedroom. they are 9 and 6), my brother in the office in a twin. Then when my bro leaves sunday my mom can move to the twin and my husband back in our bed. hehe
My ILs are moved back now but when LO was born they were not. Now that was interesting. Fitting all of my family plus ILs in our old home which was a 3 bedroom 1200 SF! hahaha

Yup. We have 5 bedrooms. One is a dedicated guest room downstairs with a queen bed and a full bath attached. My office upstairs can be a guest room with an airbed and the loft can be a guest room with an air bed, as well. We also have a couch in the loft and a couch in the family room that can be used for guests, if needed.

We have a guest room with a full size bed, when baby #2 happens then we will be out a guest room, but will have room in the basement to set up a bed. Hopefully we will be almost out of this house by that time though.

We have a dedicated guest room with a full sized bed. It was a requirement that we have a house with a dedicated room for guests because my husband's entire extended family lives abroad and we have at least 2 sets of them visit per year.

Yeah, we have a guest room with a queen bed in it. I mean, I guess it's nice, but I am not one of those people that enjoy having guests at all...let alone overnight guests... Hahahha.

Not really. Guests would have to sleep on the couch (not ideal) or downstairs in the game room on an air mattress. We can't accommodate many people!

Yes, we have a dedicated guest room and it does get used pretty frequently by friends and family members (usually our siblings). We don't have a LO yet, but I can imagine how much MORE frequently it will be used once we do, since we live in a different city than our families... *shudder*.

We do have a guest room. It was actually really important to me to keep it, even though it causes us kind of a hassle now that DS is on the way. But all of my close friends, and my family live at least 3 hours away. I wanted my parents to be able to visit and stay with us.
We technically have 2 bedrooms on one floor, and a room called the loft on the next floor up. The loft is like having a finished basement on the top of the house, but it's only accessible through the master bedroom. We have moved up the loft, will put baby in the master, and keep the 2nd bedroom as a guest room. I really wanted to make it a combo guest/baby room, but it was just too small.
Next house will have at least 4 bedrooms.

My SIL and her DH are staying in our empty basement apartment. We also have a futon in our office that can turn in to a double bed.

If they don't mind the couch, they can stay with us. But now that we have a baby on the way, we are thinking about getting a blow-up mattress or sofa bed to put in our office.

We have a 2 bedroom, so guests sleep on our pullout couch in the living room. Not ideal, but it's ok.

Nope. We have a spare bedroom but it is full with the computer desk and all of DH's guitars and amps. Having guest beds would be inviting major trouble with my extended family! There's my uncle who lives out of state but doesn't have a steady job so he occasionally moves back and needs a place to stay for months/years at a time, my aunt who won't get a job because she thinks she should qualify for disability even though the government keeps denying her, so she's always couch-hopping, my cousin who invited that aunt to stay with them for awhile even though they get into ridiculously loud/violent arguments and then my cousin wants to crash somewhere else (plus her bf and son) to avoid her. So no way, no guest room.
Both of our immediate families live within a half hour of our house though, so there's really no need for it.

Sort of, my office is also the playroom and guest room (pull out couch). We don't often have guests, but it works well when we do.

We have a guest room with a queen and an air mattress could go on the floor in the office. One day, we'll finish the basement and there will at least be a pull out sofa down there.

Not really. The twin bed that will be LO's is in the guest room, so I guess we have room for one guest? No one has wanted to sleep there so far lol. When she takes the twin bed we will put a full in the guest room so that we can have guests again.

We have a guest room that is currently in the beginning stages of a revamp (goodbye 70s red carpet and ugly wallpaper!), and in the meantime have 2 beds in the "sunroom" and a futon in another room that are available for use. That guest room will become the kids room in the near future, though...

Nope. They can sleep on the floor with an air mattress or on the couch. When LO slept in his RNP, MIL stayed in his nursery in a daybed we have in there during the maternity week from hell.
When DH was talking about selling our place and moving, he mentioned a 3 bedroom place. I was oddly relieved about it since I don't want to have space for her to stay with us. Bad of me, I know, but it's the truth.

No, we live in a one bedroom condo but we bought a fancy pants sleeper sofa from American Leather that our parents or siblings use when they visit.

Our "guest" will also (one day) be a nursery and part office. Talk about multi-tasking!

Yep, we have 4 bedrooms and an office which I guess could be used as a guest room, we also have room for a MIL suite in the basement.
I don't know what we will do when parents come, but my siblings will probably get an air mattress on the ground in the game room (which doesn't offer much privacy, but oh well!)
