I got a new car and it came with a 3 month subscription to xm/Sirius. I was shocked when I found out its like 200/year! Uhhh... It's cool and nice to have (I love 90s on 9) but...is it worth the money?

We got the same 3 month subscription with our car. DH loves it and listens to it everyday. When they called to see if he wanted to renew, they told him same as you--about $200/year. We talked it over and decided it wasn't worth the extra expense. He called the next day to cancel and told them it was because it was too expensive, so they offered it to him for half price! He ended up signing up for it--so you could always try that!

I had it for the first year in my car, then I didn't renew it. I love it, but I'm cheap! And most holiday weeks they make it free so when we are driving to go away for the holiday we can still listen : )

I think it would be fun to have but no, I wouldn't want to pay for it.

I think it's worth it if you have long commutes to and from work. I borrowed my parents' new car that had the sirius radio sub and i looooved it, especially since most of my drives were at least 30 minutes.

I love Sirius. The trick is not to renew after your trial period. The longer you wait the cheaper they offer it to renew for.
I pay $4.99/month after waiting 3 months after the trial period.

I would love to have it but definitely can't justify the price!
@travelingbrit: 4.99! That's amazing!!
