I really need invitations to come more than a week or two in advance! Agh. I'm missing yet another shower for a close friend of mine because I didn't know the date until a week before and had already made other plans.

Yes! I got a christening invitation for one of my good friend's baby 2 weeks before the christening. I got a baby shower invitation a month in advance for the same day and already RSVP'd that I was going by the time I got the christening invite. I think my friend is mad at me for not going, but send your invite earlier! Or at least tell me about it so I can save the date!

I work some weekends and it is hard to get someone to trade. So if I don't have things far enough in advance it can be tough to make it.
