Do you pay for internet? Unlimited or so many mb / month?
We pay $65 right now for satellite internet and we run out most months, which sucks. We can't stream music or watch netflix movies. I think just facebook videos and snapchat puts us over! Once we run out we use cell phone data till the month's over. (or get on between 2 am and 8 am!)
We live in the country so our options are super limited and I don't want to pay more than that. I think unlimited would cost us over $100 a month.

No....I couldn't. We use our internet too much. I'm guessing satellite is your only choice out where you live?

@mediagirl: Yes unfortunately, and only 2 options from those so there is no competition to be 'cheaper'. We'd ideally get internet through the local phone company but we're 'out of sight' of their tower so can't even get that.

@josina: ugh. So frustrating! Would it be cheaper just to get an unlimited plan on your phones and use their data for streaming to your TVs?

@mediagirl: Maybe, but we have crappy reception so it wouldn't work well enough. The downside of country living.

@josina: I feel your pain! We live in the country too and currently have just a 15 GB plan through AT&T and use our hot spot, if needed. But, like you, no streaming movies or much music.
I am going to be on maternity leave starting in February, so I'm looking into options. I am going to call a local satellite internet provider that has unlimited internet for $79. I am praying and hoping that they can get a connection (a friend 1/4 mile away can). This would be a lifesaver for me while stuck in the house with a newborn in the middle of a MN winter!
