I'm only 30, but have a ton of white, half-white hairs at the crown of my head.
I had them on/off in my late 20s, figured it was due to all the coloring/etc.
Postpartum, it got worse!
Some of them don't even take dye! Weird.

Yes! Even worse postpartum, all around my hairline, especially on the sides.
I started getting highlights so that they blend better (I'm a redhead). So far, so good. I think I'll eventually become a blonde, like Nicole Kidman!

lol not yet!
i make DH dig around and check my for them every few months

Rarely; 1-2 strands every few months maybe. But both my parents have greyed so I know it will happen to me at some point! DH is older and def has more whites.

Ugh - yes. I've had many since my mid 20's but I get my hair done at the salon. My husband still does not have even one and I keep looking for them!!

I had one in college and then my hairstylist found one last month...it must be hormonal!

A few here and there. I noticed one in the car the other day and immediately ripped it out!

Heck yes! Childbirth gave them to me! I also have dark thick hair so I think they tend to be more obvious than those (on people with) lighter colors. I get highlights, just a partial foil and my stylist does a great job natural blending so you can't really tell.

I found one a couple of weeks ago on the day before my 30th birthday. Comedic timing, but no cause for concern.

I have a few, but I have yet to do something about them, as my hair is finally in a good, virgin state.

Well, grey. My mom was completely grey by the time she was 35 so I'm not holding out much hope. Thankfully my sis is a hairdresser and dyes it for me at cost.

Oh, I'm maybe 25% silver at this point? And I'm a brunette, so it's pretty prominent. Started in my mid-20s, and now I'm def greying in my mid-30s. What can I say? It's genetic!
I made a conscious decision a few years ago to not color my hair- I have no problem conceptually with coloring my hair, but I knew I wouldn't be able to maintain it regularly (I'm forgetful and lazy about that stuff), and I think half-grown color jobs look worse than just going au naturel!
So I've just decided to embrace the silver and stay youthful by getting awesome cuts and making sure my hair is super healthy. I've actually been surprised at the number of women who have stopped me to tell me how much they "admire my bravery." Huh? I just decided to embrace it, and it's gotten easier and easier as time's gone on. Doesn't hurt that I have met many other ladies who are silver-haired, fashionable and chic, so I now have some role models!

Yes, since my early 20s. They grow so fast and are so shiny! haha

No, thank god! DH is getting more and more in his beard, so it's a mix of white, red and black lol.
eggplant / 11824 posts
yes, boo! I've had gray hairs (too many to pluck) since my late 20's and cover my hair to cover them. What sucks is I love a little gray hair on men and DH is 16 years older than I am and he has seriously like 2 gray hairs! bah!

Yes, I have a few that have appeared postpartum. I was pulling them out but I've stopped doing that because I know it's pretty futile. lol.

I have a couple that showed up postpartum. They don't dye well, which is lame
apricot / 363 posts
Yes! I have tons of silver strands in my black hair, which makes them even more noticeable. I've had them for as long as I can remember although they seem to be multiplying as I get older.
papaya / 10473 posts
They keep popping up here and there, but I only started finding them postpartum! Weird!
pear / 1586 posts
Yes I'm 24 but have had them for a couple of years. I haven't dyed my hair though, just cut them out.
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
Pre-baby: I'd get one occasionally. Normally when I'm super stressed.
Post-baby: I find a handful at a time when I'm doing my hair. I freak out and pull them all out!

My hair is super gray and I've been getting it colored for a looong time (I'm 31). I'm getting it colored in two hours, actually
hostess / cantaloupe / 6486 posts
Yep! Had them since I was about 19. I have only noticed about 4 of them though...but I'm still only 22, I'm sure DD is giving me more!
pomegranate / 3779 posts
Yep, but you couldn't really see them until I quit highlighting my hair (something I'd been doing for the last 17 yrs!). I have quite a lot now, but it's mostly in one patch in the center and I can hide it with a side part.
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
No, but I'm only 23. I don't want to have white/grey hair for maaaaany years so when they show up I will definitely be making quite a few more trips to the salon than I do now!
pomelo / 5132 posts
No, thank goodness! I'm 26, but my mom got them earlier in her 20s. My dad only got them in his 50s.
