We live in a newish neighborhood and all of the houses were built as cheaply as possible. One of the things they scrimped on was window sills and trim. We don't have anything. We just have the painted bump out for the window and the window itself.

BUT! This weekend, my husband and his Dad built me a window sill and framed out our window. It makes our kitchen look 100% better already! I have to take a picture when it's finished (they still have to put up the apron).
