Ours are black. I originally wanted them white, but the black has really grown on me. However, DH prefers white. Replacing the windows (to newer energy efficient ones) is one of those big renos on the back burner that we might tackle next year. That's if we agree on a color.

We live in a rented apt so have no choice-- they are metal. In my own home someday I want white or wood.

I voted white because that's what they are on the exterior. They're natural wood on the interior.

Ours are white. The other common color I see in my area are black, which usually denotes the windows were installed invthe early 90s at the latest.

Dumb question, but are we talking interior or exterior? I said white because ours our white on the inside. On the outside they are brown (we live in an apartment).

Do you mean window sills/sashes? Our panes are clear! The interior sills are mostly painted white, all the sashes and the exterior parts are natural aluminum.

Black metal, and I hate them. If we had the money we would get new energy efficient windows with white panes.
