No, I don't think my mom did a baby book for me. I do have a "grandmother's book" which my grandma filled out for me when I was little. The book is about her life as a little girl. I dug it out for my LO since she is being named after my grandmother and I was so surprised to see that there was barely anything filled in! I have such clear memories of bringing that book to my grandmother and asking her to read it to me over and over when I was little. Turns out she was using the prompts to tell me the stories but never actually wrote any of them down!

I have mine; my mother gave it to me a few years ago when I bought my own house. I love looking through it and seeing snippets of life then. It's also fun to read through the letters my mother wrote to my grandmother about us (my grandmother saved everything, and they recently came back into my mom's possession ;))

I don't have one. I think only my oldest sister has an official baby book.
On my wedding day, my grandma gave me a photobook my mom had made for her of my first year of life. I love looking through those pictures and seeing my sisters and family, and meant the world to me that my Grandma gave it to me on such a special day.

My mom has it. She has the basics and a few letters she wrote me throughout the years

My mom has it. She saved EVERYTHING. My hospital bracelet, her meal menus from the hospital, all of my baby teeth, the first undies I got my period in (I KNOW, WTF about that one)...

Mine was lost in a house fire when I was 15 months old, along with most of the baby pictures of me

I have mine, I was suprised when I went back to look at it not long ago that more was filled out then I thought. I think the last time I looked at it I was a teenager and I skipped the mushy stuff! It was especially neat because my mom was quite young when she had me but it is all so positive and joyful.

@HabesBabe: Oh my God about the undies! Did you know she was saving them at the time? I think I would have been soooo embarrassed.

My parents have it at their house. My mom kept pretty extensive notes during my first few years. I'd love to dig it out when I go home for Christmas.
