I know what my ornament looks like but I don't know if my parents still have it. There was a fire and it might have been destroyed or damaged.

Before my mom met my dad, her and my brother lived in a little apartment and they were poor. So, my mom made a bunch of felt ornaments and paints some ceramic decorations and I have them all, which is what I decorate our tree with now. I will continue until L is a little older and I want to do something a little less "kid-ish".
edit: they aren't mine, necessarily. We didn't get ornaments for christmas. I did grow up with them though.

My grandmother gave all the grandkids an ornament every year. I have all of mine and use them on our tree each year. My mom does the same with all of her grandkids.

My parents still have all of our first Christmas ornaments.

DH and I both grew up getting an ornament each year. We both got them once we moved out. LO was excited to see that we both had Mickey\Minnie ones.

I do! My mom gave me my baby ornament from 1981 - I kind of wish she would keep it as now I worry about it breaking every year or me misplacing it!
I have a few other ornaments that we always had on our tree growing up, and my dad gave me an ornament that HE had as a little kid in the early 1950's!

My first ornament is on my mom's tree in the front near the top. My bro's is lower and off to the back/side...ha ha. I didn't put the ornaments up, but surely got a kick out of their placement. Rivalry never gets old.

My mom still has all my childhood ornaments although I don't think I have a "baby's first."

Mom still has our first christmas ones but I have a shoebox full of other ones I grew up with/was gifted/made myself.
