By hand or machine? My LO has short little legs and her jeans and pants are way too long.

No... I'm too lazy. We "peg" her pants, 80's style. DH thinks it's hilarious for some reason and always wants to be the one to do it.

I usually just fold the ones that are too long but I did hem a pair of dress pants for DS by hand.

No. So far we haven't had a problem, but mainly because she only wears leggings and tights. I've bought jeans and overalls in a few sizes bigger and they're too big overall. If they're too long when it's time for her to wear them, I'll just fold them up.

We have the opposite problem...tall and skinny baby. He rocks floods lol

@ValentineMommy: we have that problem too! LO is crazy tall and seems to frequently be in between sizes... right now she's starting to get too tall for 6-12, but 12-18 is long on her. Maybe it's that way for every baby?
At least while they're babies, I think they grow too fast for hemming... one minute pants are too long, the next, they're too short!

I roll them up. I always buy clothes a size or two too big to get maximum wear out of things. Today, DS was wearing a long sleeve tee that I bought for him probably 15 months ago and it is just now getting too small!
