I was just saying in another thread that I hope my LO leans toward a small town country girl image. I can't imagine her dressing punkish or anything with her name when she gets older.
(now that I say this, she probably will dress that way!)

My LO's name is old person. I love all things old people, doilies, lace, etc. It's also very girly. I would love if she fit her name, but I'm also ok if she turns out different.

I can't decide what her name would be classfiied as, Emerson, but I don't see that being an out of control or Emu type name
Haha but overall I just hope she fits in so she doesn't have to deal with trouble in school with lack of friends or feeling different. Biggest fear, girls can be so mean.

@jessiejo17: I love the name Emerson! I don't think she will have any trouble in school, if anything girls will be jealous of her awesome name! I worry about LO not liking her name. (Sawyer) But she will get use to it and hopefully embrace it!
@artbee: I love everything old too! DH and I hit up the antique mall all the time! and I agree, I'm ok with however DD turns out! as long as shes healthy and happy!

we picked hadley, and so far we have had a few people comment that they know a hadley who is "so sweet" that makes me smile everytime, and hope that there is something to a name!

No, not really. When picking a name our only reasoning behind it was the meaning. Her name means joyful and that's all we want for her - happiness!

DS is a Joel. I hope that it's not common enough to stand out but not so odd that he gets made fun of in school.
