We do throughout the day. Though sometimes it reduces to speaking in emoticons over Skype, like right now.

We text each other throughout the day. Usually about silly stuff, nothing too important. My work blocks any kind of non internal instant messaging, so no Skype or gchat for me.

My DH is in an office like 8 feet away, so we don't usually text each other during the day

We text. Random things. Sometimes important info, other times just seeing how each other's day is going.

We text and google chat throughout the day. I keep him updated on how our LO is doing, and he lets me know how work is coming along.

We usually Gchat throughout the day-- we send each other silly or interesting things that we've come across online, keep each other posted on strange coworker behavior, and sort of drift in and out of conversation. I've had non-desk jobs where this isn't possible, and I definitely missed it!

No. He works in a warehouse though. I send him picture msgs of E a couple times a day and we have playtime in the nursery during his lunch break so that he can watch us through the video monitor (although sometimes he just sees E napping).

We don't really talk during the day unless there is something going on that one of us needs to know about

We usually gchat. Not all day long, we just shoot messages back and forth if we have something to share.

We text throughout the day to see what my hubby is up to since he works at our shop and the farm and runs all sorts of errands throughout the day. He'll text me about decisions we need to make or remind me of something.

I can't text (I don't let my students text, so I have to set an example), but we do email back and forth if he's in the office.

we text. sometimes i'll send him funny pics i find on the internet that remind me of him. sometimes he just texts me to tell me that he misses me or loves me or that i need to pay a bill... haha such love.

Depending on the day, we might IM, email or text. Was about what were doing that night, what we are having for dinner, etc. Now he usually calls to see how things are going and how Reagan is doing for the day.

Yup, we Gtalk until I leave the office, we are not big phone talkers. I always wonder now what we had to say to each other when we were 13/14 yrs old. We were always on the phone with each other.

We used to work together, so after I got my new job, we IM throughout the day. We talk about anything, but mostly just to say hi.

DH and I email back and forth all day long while we are at work. Usually nothing too deep but just short, random thoughts or silly stuff. I like that we can do that since when we are home a lot of interaction is based around DS and it's not about 'us'
