I did for a bit during the newborn phase and then stopped. I started up again when DD was around 2 because she began saying all these funny things so I wanted to write them down!

I kept a pregnancy journal and now I have a baby's first year journal that I write in every few days in addition to LOs baby book. It will be fun to look back on and I think she will appreciate it.
