My parents recently splurged on a new TV after twenty something years with their old Hitachi TV with a pull knob.
They bought a nice 60" at Costco and they refuse to take the plastic covering off the screen....lol!

I have to confess that I still haven't removed the plastic from the replacement AC adapter for my Macbook Pro. When I went to throw out the old one I noticed it was totally scratched up! Not that it makes a difference since this one doesn't work half the time either...

No that's a huge pet peeve of mine! I haaaaaate seeing the plastic still on things. I don't know why!

@MrsBrewer: AGREED. Seriously, I do NOT understand why people keep it on... The worst is when it's been on for a long time and the edges are like, curling and stuff...
