Nope! I've tried to estimate by weighing myself then weighing with baby but it's always off. I'm so tempted to buy a more accurate scale.

we have an old school scale from MIL that we use time to time to just get an idea of where he might be... the last time was around 3 months he was 15 lbs... i have no doubt he's at least 16+ and will find out in a cpl wks at his 4 month checkup~

We try to get an estimate every now and then by subtracting our weight from her weight with ours, but I am not confident in how accurate it is. It usually does give us the same weight for her when both DH and I try it.

Ha yes because I bought a baby scale...I was worried about Lo's weight gain. It's nice to be able to measure him whenever i want!

Yes because as always end up at some sort of doctors appointment at least a few times between well visits. I also bought a portable baby scale but we never used it with all the frequent visits happening.
Does your hospital or birthing center offer free weight checks? Although we never used the services ours offers free weigh ins every other week for babies and toddlers.

I got a scale from a garage sale for $3 and I'm so excited to use it this time around!
For LO, we had a breastfeeding group with a scale that we went to twice a week. It was a huge reassurance for me.

Yes, we just stopped by one of our works and used the cat scale. Same thing as a baby scale, just used by fur people. We are going to have to start using the dog scale soon, he's starting to outweigh even the fattest of cats.

I've weighed LO at la leche league meetings and our lactation consultants office between appointments. I kind of want to get a scale for curiosities sake. I love knowing just how much breastmilk is going in.
DH has tried to weigh her on our scale, but it's really only good to the pound, I need to know the ounces!

We know roughly from our scale and subtracting our own weight. It's been pretty accurate so far.Dh is obsessed with weighing him for some reason!

We lost the scale when we moved so now, I have no idea how much any of us weighs...

I estimate with my own scale but I weigh her clothed, so I never truly know. She was weighed on a baby scale today at 5m1w and it said 16lb10oz!

Just the rough estimate by weighing her with one of us...I love it when people ask each week how much she weighs! I usually just say somewhere between x & x pounds, cause that's about how accurate I can be!

I go to a weekly breastfeeding support group where we can weigh our babies with a medical grade scale. I love it! I'm way too curious/paranoid to wait weeks or months to know for sure!

@hilsy85: We have the same scale and probably weigh him a little more than we should. But I love that scale!

I just weigh myself, then weigh myself holding baby. Gives me a good idea.
