I don't. At all. I had a flat tire once and luckily I was with someone who knew what to do. But the first thought I had upon realizing I had a flat was to just keep driving for as long as I could. Duh. No clue.
Do you know to change a flat? Have you ever had to?

I know how to do it in theory, but havent had to do it on my own and hope I never have to. I'd just call road side assistance and let them handle it. Its really hard to untighten the bolts anyway.

Yup, I can and have changed a flat before. Funny thing was I was doing it in a skirt in a somewhat busy downtown area, and almost every guy that passed asked if I needed help, I guess no one expects a girl to be able to do it on her own!

I probably technically know since I had to learn how to in drivers ed many moons ago, but I wouldn’t attempt it. That’s what extended warranties + AAA are for! ;-p

I do! Not only that but I can also rotate my tires and change the oil! 
My husband just dials AAA haha

I know how to do it in theory too. HAHA. I'd rather have roadside assistance change my tire for me though. Don't like getting my hands dirty and grimy.

in theory, i know how to change a tire. i've seen it done. and if you put a gun to my head, i may get it done - albeit stumbling.... but i hope i never have to! luckily, the tires on my current car, i don't have to worry about it. and we do have AAA.

Yep. My dad taught me when I got my driver's license. However the only time Ive gotten a flat my husband and step dad were with me, so I didn't have to do anything.

I do know how but the Dumb bolts are really hard. I got to the last one and absolutely could not get it off so I had to call AAA anyways. Go figure

My boyfriend taught me how to do it when I was 16. However, I'm worried that I would forget a key step and end up dropping the car on myself. My strategy is to always just call AAA.

I do and had to for my little car when I was in HS/College. Now days, my car comes with road side assistance so I'll do that when time comes. I don't think I can lift a 20" wheel by myself. Those things are heavy!!

Yep! I took auto shop for a year in high school (my dad insisted, and if I didn't he wouldn't give me a car). I know how to change/rotate tires, do a break job, change oil, replace belts, and patch hoses if need be. I have had to change a couple tires, and patch hoses on the highway once. Way faster to do it yourself in 15-20 minutes than wait hours for roadside assistance! I am going to make a point to teach my kids how to take care of these things once they start driving.

No, but only because I would be paranoid that I didn't tighten the lug nuts tight enough and think that my wheel would fall off. Haha!
I bet if I was stranded alone, in a desert and my cell was dead, I could definitely figure it out.
I would rather have someone else do it correctly. Therefore someone else to blame. 
As for jumping my car, yup, I refuse to do that. I just don't feel comfortable working with all the electricity.

I not only have never learned how to change a flat tire, but I've never had one! I guess if it happens I'd just have to call Rob Sr.! I don't know if he knows how to change one either...

I know how to. The 2 times I have had flats DH or my Dad were with me. My Dad made me change it just to check that I still remembered how!

Yep! As well as change my oil, check my coolant/wiper fluid, replace spark plugs, brakes... I have even torn out and reassembled a transmission, although I had some help with that one. lol

No clue. I didn't even realize my car came with a spare. It's so well hidden in the trunk! I've never had a flat that needed immediate changing (I've had a slow leaking nail puncture that I had to bring to get filled), but I have AAA. I also have a husband, dad, brothers and many uncles and cousins that can change tires and have saved other relatives from flat tire trauma.

Yup. My Dad wouldn't let me get my license unless I could change the tire on my car. He said, "Just because you're a girl, it doesn't mean you should rely on men for things like this!" He then got me AAA for my first year with a license. HA!
I have changed my tire multiple times now. I had one time that I couldn't get the lug nuts off and had to ask for help but other than that, it's been pretty easy. When I lived in West Hartford, CT, I had to change it on the side of a pretty busy street while wearing a semi-short skirt. Jerks were driving by BEEPING at me but not stopping to help. I got it changed but decided then I would be moving out of that town in the next year. I was gone in 6 months.

I changed a flat tire once waaaay back in high school and haven't done it ever again. I used to call AAA but now I just call my car's lifetime road side service. Once time I drove 30 minutes after my car told me that a tire has lost some air...luckily I didn't hit ANY red lights and I didn't stop b/c it would have gotten totally flat. And it was raining and dark which is why I didn't stop. B/c as soon as I got home...it was completely flat. I don't think I would change my own tire again b/c I have an SUV and the tires are HUGE. LOL!
