We were just outside and I was watering the plants when E walked right through the hose stream and got soaked. He immediately freaked out and started crying at the front door. I immediately started laughing.
Does it make me a bad mom that sometimes I laugh so hard at him even when he's upset?

I wouldn't make it through the day if I didn't laugh a little... of course LO is only 7 months old, so he doesn't really understand right now..... but I think that was a totally acceptable time to laugh!

I laugh at both of my kids all the time! I notice it helps ease the tension. If my son falls down and does a crazy somersault or something, he gets up and looks at me. If I start laughing, he'll start laughing and say "I'm ok!!!".

Haha - DD is 7 months and when she throw silly fits I just look at her and laugh. She's not in any danger and her pathetic pouting is just hilarious sometimes.

All the time. I often tell him that if he does something I will laugh at him. Then he does it I laugh and he cries and I love on him. But I still laugh. Or when I tell him he can't jump from the ottoman to the bed and he does but fall back and hits the ottoman. I laughed. He did it again as dad walked in and dad laughed.

I do all the time! She is such a goofball, mostly I laugh at her when she does something silly or cute. I have definitely laughed when she was mad/upset though if it's because of something very trivial or something she did herself like your water example.

We always laugh at LO.... as long as she's not seriously hurt
Last night LO was eating dinner and I asked if she wanted turkey, "no" "all done with turkey?" "no." so you want more turkey? "no." "all done with turkey?" "no." I started laughing. DH heard this conversation while he was doing some dishes and said, "wow, I can't believe you can laugh at this." I told him that's why I'm a SAHM and he's not a SAHD..... you need to be able to laugh at things!

I laughed hysterically when DD ran into the couch full speed and fell on her back. She thought she was hitting a different spot and ended up hitting a corner and it threw her back. She cried but she was ok!

So DS has just recently been potty trained, and since yesterday he has been very inquisitive about the thing under his weewee. "Mama, what is this?" He said pointing and poking. I DIED laughing and managed to tell him it was a scrotum. But he thinks it is part of his tushy.
