We used to be a closed door family. But since he's been been potty trained we've left his door open at night and no child proof lock on it so DS can open it in the motn or morning as needed!

Closed until we go to bed and then we open it for the night. Closed doors make our cats want to know what's behind them so it's better like this.
We have to keep it closed while we're in the living room watching tv because we're in an apartment and he would hear it.

We leave it open on warm nights! Otherwise it just gets too hot in there...

Closed, but I've been thinking about this since we'll be moving beds/bedrooms soon and she is potty-trained. Currently she calls for me when she wakes up to go potty in the MOTN/early morning. Ugh. Maybe a little potty in her room at night? I don't know that I'd trust her to go back to bed if she was allowed all over the house if she woke up! Wish an en suite was an option!

M is open. The latch on the door needs to be fixed, and the cat will push it open and wake him.
D's is closed.

Closed, his room is in between our living room and front door so it would be bright and noisy in there otherwise!

Closed so the TV/dog doesn't wake him up before we go to bed, but we have just kept it closed.

Closed for both kids. I'm paranoid about us waking them up, even with white noise.

Closed, but he has two doors, one of which goes right into the bathroom. And he can open both of them...sometimes he comes into our room in the morning and crawls into bed with me.

Closed. She would never sleep if she saw light or heard sounds coming from other parts of the house!

Closed when she was a baby. When we switched to a big girl bed, she insisted on having the door open. Is that why she never slept as a baby, she needed noise and light??! lol
