She used to paint all the time but at 4.5 she's more into markers now. I like the crayola little pots of paint and we put a brush in each pot to keep the colors from getting mixed. I use an art smock and her IKEA easel and put it on the hardwood so it's easy to clean

I bought some crayola washable paint pots last week so LO could paint some gifts for Father's Day. He loved it! I didn't think he would based on his interest in crayons, watercolor paints, and paint with water, but I think this will become one of our regular activities. I put him in his booster seat at the table with just a diaper and then put him in the bathtub afterwards.

Yes, the easel is always set up in the kitchen with watercolors available at all times. And we often use regular paints inside, too, or bring the easel out on the deck if I'm not up to clean-up. DD is 3 and actually pretty neat and tidy. She loves to paint!!

Yep! Also I give her a bucket of water and a paint brush and she "paints" the fence outside

Of course! Every day! My 4 year old is especially obsessed with painting and drawing, so I just let her have at it.

DD paints in art class... we rent and have carpet so we aren't doing it at home lol.

My kids paint with watercolors a few times a week.

Between school and home, DS paints a lot! Thankfully, he's like me and hates messes.
