I don't like them and I prefer 6 books instead of one big book. I guess I think every book deserves a nice cover!

Ick. Not a fan. We do have one combo book that has a bunch of classic short stories in it (3 little pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, etc). I think that would be the only one I like.

I don't think I'd mind it for when she's older. But now that she has such a short attention span she needs one short book.

I like some of the anthologies but more for 4 and up, they are a good introduction to tables of contents and the kids get a kick out of choosing which story. When they are younger though it is just a pain and often they are clunky. Plus it takes awhile until they understand they are different stories not more of one that you chose to skip!

I'm a closet bibliophile so I just love having all the little books in a row with their titles showing. While combo books are good for travel, I'd always choose a regular book instead.

We have maybe 7 combo books, I do prefer individual books but meh, whatever

Yeah, I like individual books better too. Every book deserves its own cover, and I would think they're MUCH easier for little hands to hold! Plus, the combos usually include about half good stories/books, and the other half filler stuff, the stuff that isn't quite as good, that I wouldn't buy otherwise.

I prefer individual books because they're much better for teaching that a book has a cover (that always has certain information), end pages, etc. Combo books probably work better for older readers who just want to get through as many stories as possible on their own.
