Not really. Hell, if DH is away I don't even usually make dinner.

I enjoy it once in a while - if DH is out of town I'll make a meal that he doesn't enjoy but I love. But one year I lived in an apartment by myself and I found supper time veerrrry lonely.

Yes, I prefer eating lunch alone. I like having that break in my workday to just not expend energy talking to anyone, and relaxing over coffee and Kindle.

I don't mind at all. I bring my kindle when I travel for work, which is primarily when I end up eating alone. I love it. I lived alone before and never minded it, either-but I usually watch tv while I eat

I didn't used to, but now that I'm a sahm and never ever alone, even to go to the bathroom, I treasure any me time I can get.

I'm a total introvert; I don't mind being (eating) alone at all!

Yes I prefer it, but that stems from years of eating disorders where I thought everyone was judging me if I ate in front of them.

@ms.janedoe: Awesome picture! I'm totally the same way.

I actually like to eat alone sometimes. It gives me time to catch up on reading or to play online. I think it's relaxing once in a while.

I used to hate eating alone, but now I love it!
I feel like I'm always rushing when I eat and I can't enjoy my food because I have to make sure LO is eating and taken care of.

@ms.janedoe: That's so me! Lol
Nowadays with LO eating alone is a true treat and when I get to do it I love every second of it.

I used to not like it but got really comfortable with it during grad school bc I was always studying/eating alone. I don't mind eating by myself so long as I have a book or iPad to keep me company. Now L is my constant eating companion - love it

During the work week yes. I like to just zone out and read and get a break. Usually DH and I grab something on the weekends out since we are out running errands. But if I am out by myself I am fine with sitting by myself and eating, or even at home if DH isn't home.

I don't really mind it. At work, I like the break away from everyone to just relax. Since I'll be pumping during my lunch break when I go back, I'll definitely be eating alone!

I don't mind, I once got mad at DH and left the house at like 9pm and went to a diner alone and had a nice little breakfast for dinner by myself! DH thought it was horrifying and embarrassing but honestly i thought it was fun haha

I always eat breakfast alone, and get some reading and quiet thinking time in. I love it!
