yes, but my feet don't. I can only wear them for very short periods of time or else I'm in pain.

I'm the odd woman out, I guess. I like the utility of them as shower shoes, but I don't put them on if I'm not going to the beach. I do like the yoga mat and Cushe flip flops I've had--the latter don't make the smacking sound and the former are nicely padded, but eventually fall apart (not as easily as the cheap ones or Havaianas, however). I still don't wear them as regular shoes, though. It's not like I'm a fashion maven...I just had some bad experiences with the plastic kind and that turned me off of them. Shoes that shred my feet and aren't even cute don't get a second chance!

I think they have a place. Today, I walked into work behind a woman wearing flip flops and all i could think about was the noise she was making. I hate that sound.

Yes! Obviously not to work/church but running errands, just taking a short walk w/ the dog, etc!

I love them (Havianas only though!) but DH hates them with a passion. He thinks they are OK at the beach and at home, but not in public otherwise. I don't really care what he thinks, but its kindof seeped into my thinking and those are the only times I wear them now! Also, my feet don't like to be in them forever anyway.

I'm in the minority - I hate them! I just find ti uncomfortable and I'm such a klutz I really can't walk in them
