I don't mind some of them, but others really get in my head!
I'm more of a Hocus Pocus kind of gal

I love them! I don't like the "slasher" type horror movies though. I like the creepy thrillers.

Absolutely love them. Every single one. I have a horror movie blog.

Nope, never watch them, and don't care too! Luckily DH doesn't like them either, we will stick to our comedies
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
I have a love/hate relationship with them... I really like them, but I get so freaked out I can barely watch!
nectarine / 2765 posts
Hate hate hate them. They scare the crap out of me, give me the creeps & give me an icky uneasy feeling. Even the commercials creep me out.
honeydew / 7091 posts
Not really. I did like the SAW movies because I thought they were interesting. Everything else just freaks me out.
I had a guy take me on a date to go see 'Lady in the Water'. That did not go well...

No!!! growing up Nightmare on Elm Street was a huge movie and OMG it gave me nightmares!!!
persimmon / 1165 posts
No! I will totally dream about scary movies if I watch them at night. It is awful. Comedies for me!!
pomegranate / 3401 posts
Love them but I'm scared of them at the same time! Like I'm the type who will watch from behind my hands or a pillow covering half of my face.
pomelo / 5791 posts
I love them, but since having DS, I find I am definitely more sensitive to them than before.

@hotchildinthecity: what's your blog?!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE horror. We watch scary movies most weekends. I love great horror and also super campy/crappy horror.

I used to update constantly but I've fallen off a little. I think I will update tonight and I might start recapping AHS.

No. I will start crying if I watch a truly scary movie. Not to mention my imagination is out of control.
grapefruit / 4355 posts
I love suspenseful horror movies but I don't really care for slasher/gore horror movies.
clementine / 995 posts
No, I hate them! I am a big chicken. I don't like haunted houses either.

@hotchildinthecity: awesome, I'll check it out. I feel like I knew that was your blog name, but then I wasn't sure.
There have been a few horror flicks I've watched recently that I've really felt like writing about. Honeymoon (2014) being one - have you seen it? I don't want to threadjack, but there is a LOT to talk about there, even though it isn't a great movie (especially about the history of sexual autonomy and personal rights in marriage for women; gender expectations and what the real horrors in the film were.)

I used to but the older I get the more they bother me. Slasher films are fine but it's The Exorcist type movies that get me. I used to enjoy the feeling of being scared out of my freaking mind but now that I'm an adult that is alone with LO (or when I was a nanny, my nanny babies) all day, I can't watch them. I get too obsessed & sometimes the movies can scare me so much that I'm afraid to go to certain parts of the house & stuff which isn't really possible for a parent in general. Also, too many of them feature children & seeing as how that's basically my life, they're too real for me
wonderful pea / 17279 posts
Sure as long as they play mid-day with all the lights on and are not based on religion.
grapefruit / 4817 posts
Nope. Hate them and always have. I can't even watch the commercials. I really really dislike being scared and can't handle things popping out at me. Nope. Just nope.
pomelo / 5469 posts
I used to love them, now I hate them. I don't really know why...I just get too tense now!
nectarine / 2878 posts
I refuse to watch them. I saw a few when I was younger but don't care to watch them anymore. Also, I really hate all the scary movies and previews/commercials that come out in October.
honeydew / 7295 posts
I love suspenseful eerie movies like The Others, Woman in Black, the shining or the one we just watched Occulus. I get very scared though and I hate gory slasher or torture porn.
persimmon / 1043 posts
Noooo, the older I get, the more I don't like them! Lol. I close my eyes or switch the channel when the trailers play on TV.
blogger / eggplant / 11551 posts
Nooo - I even change the channel or walk out of the room if I see a commercial for a horror movie on!
blogger / pomegranate / 3201 posts
No, I hate them. Last night my husband turned on American Horror Story (TV show, not movie, but still) and I couldn't even listen to it for a minute before making him change the channel (I wasn't watching TV, but I could hear the scary music).
grapefruit / 4120 posts
I'm not proud of it but yes! Especially like The Ring, The Grudge and that kind of stuff!
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
Used to but not anymore. I just don't feel like being that scared. I'm fine with funny or sad movies but scary... I'll pass.
DH finds it funny to put The Conjuring on and see how long it takes for me to notice before I tell him to turn it off.
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
Nope. I used to, but not for years. I have a very over-active imagination, and don't really like being scared.
I like the funny "scary" movies, though (like Hocus Pocus!)
