OMG - I love hot & sour so much! I got so spoiled when I lived in NYC and I could get vegetarian hot & sour soup. Can't get that in the 'burbs! I've made my own a few times and it was pretty close! I went off of this recipe: http://www.thekitchn.com/recipe-hot-and-sour-mushroom-c-71441

@coacheswife123: We often make Joanne Chang's hot & sour soup (got the recipe from F&W magazine), and it's really good and pretty easy but doesn't taste like hot and sour soup from restaurants!

Uh Yes! Love it. My parents owned a chinese restaurant for 27 years, so I was spoiled with hot and sour soup. They have now retired, I have found one place in the city that comes really close to what I grew up with.
