While I was pregnant I thought these gowns were great. Great way to easily change their diaper, but I stopped using it because their feet would get cold. I have to definitely make sure they are wearing socks.

I never liked them because they would ride up constantly and leave their legs exposed

I like them under swaddles as PJs. Easier in the middle of the night to change than the snap up ones.

I did not like them because I guess my son has broad shoulders or something - they were really hard to take off! I think I would have liked them more if they created zipper or snap gowns that don't have to go over their heads.

Never used them. Or rather we had one hand me down that I used once and it bunched up under her swaddle. Much preferred footed pjs or just a onesie and a swaddle if t was warm (had a summer baby).
I received a few as gifts and re gifted them to someone who had registered for them.

We were given some but never used them. I don't really get it. Maybe my baby was just colder than average but having her legs exposed wasn't an option.

I'm the outlier here, but I loved them! Especially the ones with built in mittens. I had a April baby in Fl, so with socks these were perfect. She pretty much lived in them as a newborn.

I was gifted a bunch, but never used them. I didn't like how their feet or legs were exposed.

We used them in the summer when LO was a newborn. Made diaper changes easy and she wouldn't get too hot. But it was a short lived period.

I liked them until DD stopped needing a diaper change in the middle of the night. I prefer footed sleepers.

Oh my gosh, I hated these so much! Sounded great but they bunched up and were kind of annoying to do diaper changes in, actually.

No. She couldn't be in her bouncer or have a good seat in the baby carrier.

I don't have much trouble with the bunching, and her feet are warm enough in the swaddle, but I think it's a bit of a pain to change her diaper at night.
I never used them with E.

No, I thought they were a pain. Too bad thought because we got like 30 hand me down gowns and nothing else NB for LO2. My friends must love them.

My best friend loved them and gifted me a bunch, but we never really used them because they bunched up.

I had never even seen them until after my first baby was too big for them, now I don't really see a need for them.

I bought a few but never ended up using them at all. I preferred sleepers.

i hated these because my daughter hates having anything pulled over her head. I also found them to be too narrow. I definitely prefer(red) the zipper sleepers.

DD (summer baby) loved them. We didn't have issues with them riding up but we had mostly 0-6 month size (not 0-3) and she only wore them until about 3 months old.

I have a couple that are more like sleep sacks with long sleeves. Those I like.
The ones with open bottoms are useless.

They rode up all the way to his chest! They were also hard to put on, because you have to bunch up so much material. Awful.

I thought these were a good idea in theory, but in reality really dislike them. When DD was a newborn, she was just too squishy to get in them easily, and I also found that her legs and feet got chilly in these. My real fail was thinking that she could wear one home from the hospital, but of course we couldn't strap her into a car seat appropriately., so all that effort putting her into it was wasted. Lol!

We had a couple that were long enough but we still used them at night under swaddles. The ones that ride up are definitely useless though. Next baby I might try a few of the ones pictured above or maybe the magnetic sleepers. I hate snaps but zippers mean you have to expose their trunk for diaper changes. You'd think someone would have a fool proof system by now.

I have a few of these, and she wore them to bed for the first few weeks - it did simplify MotN diaper changes! Then we started using a fleece swaddle when the weather got colder, and the gowns have remained in the closet. Like others have said, I'm not finding much use for them in the winter. Maybe for around the house when spring comes - it's nice that they fit for a good long while.

Nope!! Never liked them. I just found zipper footie pajamas to be the easiest. No snaps.

No I hated them. I remember my mom using them with my brother a ton though. I don't understand why lol

I hated them. DD was always a wiggler, I was afraid they would ride up.
