I just started watching scandal on netflix because a friend recommended it and again I'm reminded of why I'm not a kerry washington fan. I liked her in Save the last dance but lately I cant ignore the way she sounds when she talks. I know it sounds horrible but I get distracted by her teeth too, although it never bothered me before.

I am a fan! I understand the teeth thing. People say that we look alike, but I think she is way way prettier. Someone once came up to me in Old Navy because they thought I was her. I said, "I don't think Kerry Washington shops at Old Navy."
I completely forgot she was in Save the Last Dance! I am in love with Scandal!

@caffeinated: Thanks. I don't want to spoil any scenes, but when she cries on Scandal I don't find it believable--but I like everything else about her acting.
She's going to be in Django Unchained, I want to see that.

not a fan at all! Saw her in some movie with Eddie Murphy and I couldn't stand her lips and the way she talks. UGH.

I really like her in Scandal and think she is great as Olivia Pope. I think she really acts like someone would if they were in that job in the real world. She is no nonsense and in charge. Love it!!

I guess different strokes for different folks. I always thought she was attractive and a good actress... and Olivia is almost a superhero in terms of her competency, which is always fun.

I really love her on Scandal! I have noticed that her lips do some weird things when she's talking but I still think she's a really great actress. I think she's beautiful too!

We tried watching Scandal once, but couldn't complete one episode. I totally agree on the over-acting thing--she seemed to always be storming into rooms and constantly making this intense glare. I found her acting, at least in that show, laughable.

I like her enough. I love the show Scandal, but I can see where people think she over acts for that part. My dad can't watch Scandal because he dislikes her so much.

I'm *meh* about her . . . I know she is currently a Hollywood darling, but I don't really think she has great acting chops or that her fashion sense is really all that. She is, however (imo), gorgeous!

@Mrsbells: lol, her mouth is distracting when she's being dramatic and over acting. I don't like or dislike her partly because she is soo gaurded about her personal life. Practically everything she has been in has been good. I adored her in "Mother and Child." I like to see what she wears on the red carpet becausse she usually dresses chic or ladylike.

I looooove Scandal and I think she is great in it! I do agree sometimes when she is being super intense her mouth does some weird things though.

I love her in Scandal, she's amazing. I'm not needing to go look up Save the Last Dance because I don't remember her in that! I will say that sometimes her voice annoys me, but I overlook it because I love the show!
