I used to spend my Friday nights with my mom. We'd get dairy queen pulled chicken sandwiches, blizzards, and she'd pick out an old movie for us to watch. My favorites were always the Audrey Hepburn movies. Can't wait to start a tradition like that with lo .... hope she also loves old movies! I want to start with Shirley temple

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE old movies!!!!! All of my favorite ones are old musicals or black and whites. My all time favorite is "Gone with the Wind". I even named my dog Bonnie Blue because of that movie. Love old movies.

@artbee: I totally miss that show and they don't ahve it on our 'on demand'. I will completely seek out that show now so I can watch that. I love Scarlett. I would love to name a little girl that name.
I love the Audrey Hepburn movies. One of my sisters loves her and will name one of her little girls, whenever she has one, Audrey.

@artbee: Our cable company kind of sucks.....I'm hoping we can use it soon.
I have a new 'girl' name that I really want to use, but i don't know if hubby will go for it and I'm having trouble finding a middle name with it. I've got a while, so I'll be patient. (which is like the thing I hate the most to be....I don't do well waiting at all!)

@Jennimac: I had a girl name I loved and was so upset when dh didn't like it. But lo's name is so perfect for her, now I'm glad he said no! Not too long until you can ttc again! When I miscarried it made me feel good to know that at least I can get pregnant, and then I got pregnant on the first try next time. Hope it goes easy for you too, you've had enough heartache!

@artbee: Thanks...That's what I keep thinking; it didn't take us too long, so hopefully it will be the same way. I actually think I'm goign to be Team Green this next time 'cause all I care about is a heartbeat. I think it was also good for us (in the weird way that a miscarriage can be good) because Hubby and I really know that we want kids and we want to have them. Before, it was like, okay we will see what happens and then it was like, "Okay, get used to it, it's happening.

@chopsuey119: dh really wants team green. I got my way with the first, and I have tons of pink and got to make my dream nursery full of pink and pigs. All things I was scared I'd miss out on if we went team green and had a girl. But now that I have that stuff, I won't have to worry about missing out next time.

I love old movies. They are just so corny. DH doesn't get it. My favorites are High Society (musical version of the Philadelphia Story with Grace Kelly and Bing Crosby And Frank Sinatra). And the Thin Man movies. Love them.
