I love homemade pudding but not store bought, actually. My mom makes this delicious chocolate pudding with a secret ingredient -- avocado. No on ever knows but always comments on how it's the best pudding/mousse they've ever had!

@Crystal: Not at all. The avocado really takes on the flavor of the chocolate and provides a delightful creamy texture. It's a great way to sneak the healthy fats from avocado into someone who otherwise doesn't enjoy it! She also uses honey or maple syrup to sweeten it so it's far more healthy than traditional puddings using processed sugar.

I looooove the devil's food chocolate flavor. Not regular chocolate, devil's food chocolate. It seriously tastes exactly like eating brownie batter.

I love it! I craved chocolate pudding when pregnant with my son. I probably hadn't had pudding in years before that. I also LOVE butterscotch pudding, but I haven't had the butterscotch pudding of my dreams since childhood. I've tried to make it from scratch, but it just isn't right.

@coopsmama: I just made avocado chocolate pudding for the first time last week! I liked it, but I needed to add half a banana to cover the avocado taste slightly better.

Ick, no. I can't pinpoint what I don't like about it but I know I don't like it. The thick texture/consistency weirds me out for some reason!

Wasn't so pretty...I should have strained it and let it cook a bit longer...but it has Nutella in it
