i don't mind at all... it used to irk me when this one friend did it tho. because we'd be out to eat, she'd order nothing or an app or side salad, and then eat everyone's food!

@mrsjyw: Haha, I have a friend like that! She never orders anything and then comments on how good the food looks and how she will just eat when she gets home!

Only if I am not planning to eat it lol. I usually only "share" from my plate after I am done eating and DH wants my left overs.

No, I find it annoying. DH thinks my plate is fair game. He attacks it with his fork even if we are eating the same thing. I always feel like he wants to eat my food so I eat less and therefore don't gain more weight.

No, DH will offer me a bite of something off of his fork if he thinks it's something i'd like, but we never just reach over and start munching on each others food.

I don't mind if they take the initiative to steal my food! If I'm with someone and I feel like I have to offer it, I don't like it because then I have to worry about saving some just in case they might want some!

I usually order food with sharing in mind. I don't love it when LO shares from my plate though. He eats all the good stuff!

In my family, we basically all share and luckily, my husband is the same way. When my mom and my little sister and I eat out, we order 3 things that sound good to all of us and literally pass our plates every few minutes so we can all eat everything.
With my hubs, we usually cut a portion of our food (more than a bite-- like a third of the whole thing) and give it to the other so we can try both dishes. He used to finish the food in my p,ate too, but since I've been pregnant and now breastfeeding I basically finish the entire plate now. Lol

I definitely don't mind sharing or asking if that person minds sharing. Especially if that person is DH!

I tell DH that the reason we're together is so we can share food. He might have other thoughts on it but it works so far.

My favorite meals are when my friends and I order a bunch of appetizers or entrees and do family style...my DH hates this, he will not share with me! He will share with LO though if she's eyeing something on his plate.

I don't mind sharing with most people - except when I'm pregnant or breastfeeding (unless it's DS - he doesn't eat much anyways) then it's hands off!

DH and I share all the time. We usually offer each other at least a bite of what we're eating, and sometimes order a couple things we both want and share half and half. Occasionally I'll grab a bite off his plate, too. But with anyone else I'd be weirded out, lol.
