What do you like to make for football games?
We usually do a themed meal around the opposing team. For example, if we're playing the Pats (booo!) we'll make New England Clam Chowder, if we're playing Dolphins (boo!) we'll make fish.
And of course buffalo chicken dip, loaded fries/nachos, fried panko breaded cauliflower w/sriracha is to die for., home made pizza and buffalo wings.

I'll plan a football party one weekend. Does your DH like football? We allow Steeler fans but no Dolphins or Pat fans.

Yesssss!! Live football season for the food (and cooler weather! I get giddy just thinking about it)
We do pulled pork, chili, seven layer dip, chicken wings, traditional football food --- I also make a mean bolognese that cooks for 4-5 hrs that I will often make.

Chili is a favorite in our house. Pretty much every sunday. Lol. Also, I love a hot bean dip, lipton mix onion dip, baked nachos, beer, and pizza. My friend makes an awesome buffalo chicken dip that I will be making this year! And, a recipe for buffalo turkey balls that look easy enough.

We do some variation of junk foods: chili, wings, pizza rolls, bagel bites, french fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, spinach artichoke dip, BBQ ribs, chicken nuggets, mac-n-cheese, Chinese take-out, meatball subs, sausage pepper onion subs, nachos, Frito beef dip, chips and dip, tortilla chips and salsa, beer/wine/cocktails, soda, milkshakes... I'm going to stop now because I'm making myself salivate

Bacon wrapped, cream cheese stuffed jalapenos, brie on baguette with preserves, pumpernickle bread bowl with spinach dip, sticky sesame chicken wings and chicken smothered nachos with guac and pico. Mmmm.

I have been looking forward to football season for no other reason than the FOOD.
We do something every Sunday... buffalo chicken dip, pizza, seven layer dip, chili, Italian beef sandwiches. I also usually try to make something sweet like banana pudding, brownies, etc.
Man, being KU during football season is going to be BAD NEWS.

I get DHs birthday, football season, our first anniversary, holidays, my birthday and then baby. So, I am going to EAT ALL THE THINGS, ALL THE TIME. Wah wah.

Oh man I love football Sundays. We make this epic cheese and onion dip, DH is a pro at it. Chicken wings, bacon wrapped water chestnuts, spinach dip, nachos.... I could go on forever. Oh, and GO LIONS!

DH couldn't care less about football, but I love it. Maybe if I make yummy food for the next game he will be more interested. The only reason he goes to Superbowl parties is for the food and beer.

We usually go to different people's houses. They usually go all out..... we have one friend who does the day after new years and has people over all day and cooks all meals. Dinner is usually something like a roast and potatoes. It's awesome.

@HazelEyes: @yellowbird: @Mrs. Jump Rope: hahah it's really simple! Take your cauliflower and cut into florets. Blanched in boiling water until softened. Let cool. Put it in egg wash then cover in panko. Fry in oil. Once it floats it's done. Drain on paper towels. Serve with hoison and/or sriracha. Enjoy.
So simple and delicious! I like to do the blanching part before the game starts. Then usually about after 1st quarter I'll start heating up the oil and fix those as a snack. We usually eat our "meal" around halftime.
