OMG, I can't stand shopping with my DH. He literally goes in to buy one specific item and then he's out. He gets so annoyed if I linger around "eye shopping" and is constantly badgering me to "hurry up!".
I try to avoid shopping with him unless I'm there to buy oen specific item.
Is our SO a good shopping buddy?

DH usually chills outside with LO while I shop. :T he's not a good shopping buddy at all. I dated a guy who was the ideal shopping buddy. Homey followed me around for literally 4 hours without complaining!

We rarely shop together. But when we do, I don't mind it. I'm such a slow shopper, I like that he speeds me up a little bit.

I actually have a really, really hard time shopping without Rob Sr.! I am always so indecisive and don't trust my own eyes, and he knows my taste and what looks best on my body so much. He's not exactly metrosexual or a fashionisto(?) but when it comes to my clothes and stuff he is such a huge help. He also helps me thin out my selections by helping me see what I'd wear a lot and what I wouldn't wear. We both really really enjoy shopping together. Now that we have RJ though, we can only really do that on days when he's not with us! Or on date nights. haha.

DH really doesn't like to go shopping with me because I browse, but I love having him go with me. He usually won't complain too much, and he usually talks me out of spending too much. Since my love language is quality time, he knows it makes me happy so he'll suck it up and go with me. I just really love spending the time with him and having him drive me around to all the stores I want to go to.

@chopsuey119: Did we have the same ex? LOL. Homeboy would buy me whatever I said I liked. And sometimes I didn't even like it all that much. His credit card was maxed out. I hear he's rich now so I'm sure he paid it off. kekeke

I can't stand shopping with my husband. He is so indecisive; it takes him FOREVER to decide on something. For me, it's like, I like it, it fits, it won't break the bank, done.

@banana: Yeah, tough call! DH and I decided that DH is going to spoil DD. That way LO isn't impressed when guys shower her with gifts.
If we have a DS, we'll teach him to respect women and treat them well. And not to spend money on them!

I don't mind shopping with DH. He's really quite patient. I do prefer shopping by myself - I can take my time. At the moment LO makes a greeaaat shopping buddy! Approves of everything Mum likes!

@banana: @chopsuey119: Hahaha soo funny! My DH was a great shopping buddy when we were dating, then we got married and now he complains every time we go to the mall haha! So they probably would have changed if you'd stayed with them
My DH and I love grocery shopping together, I never go by myself anymore. But that's the only shopping he likes

My husband is a great shopping buddy! He never goes anywhere without his iphone, his kindle and/or a book or newspaper, so he just stations himself somewhere with a chair or bench and doesn't care how long I take. In fact, for him, the longer I take shopping the better, because that means he gets to read more. My only complaint is I don't think he is really honest when things don't look good on me...he claims everything does, even when it clearly doesn't!!

I don't mind grocery shopping, other than we spend a lot more money when we do it together.
I hate any other type of shopping with him though- I don't get any time to look around because he finds what he wants and is done. My MIL has the same issue with my FIL, so that is usually what a weekend afternoon is for, wandering through stores.
Now I am having an issue with my boy- he somehow has inherited a hatred for craft stores just like his dad. If I'm in there "too long" then he starts wailing! Good for the wallet, bad for me.

I'm torn on this. He likes to shop but he is impatient. I can usually get him to wait for me if there is somewhere he can sit and play on his phone. We have separate funds so, he doesn't give me a hard time about buying things.

Guess I'm the reverse of you bc I'm not a shopper, and the hubby is! Actually, the hubby does the shopping for me because I'm impatient and don't care to. Sad huh?

@mrs.wagon I feel the same way about my husband. He is good at helping me pick out clothes that look good on me. I have trouble deciding without him.

There is this strange thing I have with shopping with my husband. I drag him to the stores/mall, knowing he doesn't want to go. Or sometimes he does, but I know he won't be helpful. And yet, I look forward to the outing everytime and inevitably will be disappointed when he's just annoying. Haha.
