Hehe....
Wagon Jr. used to wear WIDE leg jeans / pants. I'm talking wide... like, I could fit into one leg of them. Like a skirt on each leg. JNCOs weren't wide enough for him. He wore this weird brand that he bought at a weird store for skaters. Requests? I just asked him and he told me. Haha. He looked especially ridiculous in them since he's only 5'7" (barely). Every pair of jeans he bought since we started dating got skinnier and skinnier, and now I finally have him in normal looking jeans. Now he can't believe he ever wore such wide leg jeans. He did keep a pair of UFOs and wears them every now and then.
But SKINNy jeans? Like almost jeggings? Only on fabuloso gay guys please.

Not really... they have to be worn correctly. On babies, toddlers and little boys yes but MEN? no

No! There's nothing skinny about DH's legs! He has 31" thighs, we can barely put relaxed fit jeans on him, I can't imagine what he'd look like in skinny jeans!

I think that the shape of the man dictates the shape of the jean. A waify tall thin guy can look great in slim cut jeans. DH is not waify, he would look ridiculous in them!

No...but that's mostly because I appreciate beefy man legs! And if a guy can actually pull them off I'm slightly jealous. My child birthing thighs were NOT cut out for that look!

How skinny are we talking? Like, emo skin tight jegging? Then NO!
But a slim fit with a straight leg (even a little slimmer than what @cocobee posted) I think looks great. Especially on my DH because he is "petite." Looser things overwhelm him.

Most guys (DH included) no. I did date a guy that looked delectable in them though.

No, but not because of the jeans....mostly because I am not attracted to guys that small and skinny who can actually fit into skinny jeans.

Yes! I love skinny emo guys in skinny jeans! DH couldn't get away with them, though, being 6ft2 and built with it - I always said, as much as I like waify emo boys, I could never get with a guy who's thinner than me!

@Coco Bee: I agree! DH has a few pairs of Diesel jeans that are similar cut and he looks oh-so-cute in them

Some guys can pull them off, but I don't tend to find those guys attractive. I like my men built.
Hubby has really skinny legs, but a bigger upper body and would look ridiculous in skinny jeans - like he would tip over or something. He does have a pair he calls his "hipster jeans" just because they are a little slimmer cut and darker wash than his horrible carpenter Wranglers he wears to work. Makes me laugh though!
The ones @cocobee posted aren't bad though. These though, I don't care for:

Emo skinny - no!
The picture posted by @cocobee - yes!

Super skinny, no way. I like slim cut jeans, but nothing that looks painted on. We are still trying to break my 21yo brother from wearing those ridiculous pants. He is SO skinny, and I tell him no girl will want to date him if his legs look as skinny as their arms (exaggeration, obviously, but he has such skinny legs).

I don't like skinny jeans, but slim cut look nice. I prefer them over boot cut because they aren't so wide at the ankle.

I think slim-cut looks nice on some men, especially those with a slim build. DH looks SO much better in slim-cut, because he is skinny (~145) and short (5'5"). He would look ridiculous in anything bigger than slim-cut. But he would look equally ridiculous in skinny jeans.
