Now that I've had the chance to get use out of the brand for a while now, I love it! The leggings are so thick and hold up well. The price is right too!
Do you like the Cat & Jack brand?

So far I'm not impressed We recently bought 3 new pairs of PJs, and I feel like they are not holding up well at all. And I just looked at the holiday dress selection, and I'm not impressed (and the prices seem high!)

@LuLu Mom: oh, that's a bummer about the jammies. I'll admit, I have never been a fan of any of the pj's at Target. They're all so polyester feeling to me.
I do love the things we have bought from the Cat & Jack line so far. I love the leggings, socks and the hoodie we got. The one pair of pants we got were saggy, baggy, though so I wasn't impressed with those.

Overall, yes. I am having to buy one size up because 2T is getting too short, so that is why her pants are baggy.

I really like the tings we have purchased so far! Loved the casual dresses for summer, the leggings, a pullover sweatshirt, and some basic shirts. Just wish there was less glitter on the girls stuff - we try to avoid buying glitter which really limits what we can get from this line.

@LuLu Mom: I have not tried the pajamas yet, I usually buy Carters for those.

I think it's really cute and I like the way the jeans fit DD1! They fit like a 2.5T for her and it's perfect.

I like the items we have bought so far (tees, leggings, one dress). The leggings are a decent thickness but the tops seems a bit thin. Everything is soft though, and the prices are so much cheaper than the other brands we buy that I don't mind if LO stains them or wears them out quickly. Wish the girls stuff was a little more neutral though (less neon and glitter).

I really like it. I think the leggings are really nice - soft, thick. I definitely have to size up, though. The shirts are cute, and I like that they have a lot of girls' stuff that features science (like the dinosaur and solar system shirts). I wish they weren't so pink and glittery, but hey - one step at a time, I guess. I'll take a pink dino t-shirt with actual scientific facts on it!

I do like it a good mix of basics and fun pieces. I never shopped Target before so it's been a big enough draw to get me shopping there.
nectarine / 2951 posts
No. I think the quality is poor and it runs super small. Not a fan. I miss Circo.

We have lots of leggings and shirts
Shirts are doing great but the knees of the leggings are looking rough!!! No holes yet though - keeping my receipts in case I need to cash in on that 1 year guarantee!

The basics I have gotten fit well and seem sturdy- we have a couple things from the uniform shop, some leggings, and knee socks. I tend not to like the prints for little girls though and I think the old Circo brand was much cuter. I prefer more toned down colors and I never buy glitter clothes.

@Alba4: Ha! I think it runs big. LO outgrew all her Circo 3t leggings but still can fit in C&J 3T.

Does anyone like it for boys? I have heard great things about the selection of girl clothes but dont know anyone who likes the boy stuff! I went and looked once and it was just ok. I prefer cutesier stuff for babies myself ... the clothes were in really dark colors. DS is 11 months.

Is it just me or does C&J not sell 24 months clothes? I like the clothes but I can't find anything in the size I need!

Yes! Love it. It's pretty much all she wears to preschool. Cute and cheap enough that if something gets messed up or stained I don't mind.

@Ms. RV: they do! There was a lot yesterday when I was looking through.

I haven't gotten much, but we did get a few pairs of jeans for E. They fit him really well, skinny waist and long legs and are holding up well so far.
pineapple / 12234 posts
Yep! A lot of my girls' fall clothes are Cat and Jack.
@lawbee11: I made the mistake of sending E to preschool in nice clothes last year. Most of it came back covered in paint.

I loved circo brand clothes but find the fit of the cat and jack too slim for my boys. Very disappointed.
nectarine / 2821 posts
@wrkbrk: I just have two pairs of slim sweat pants for my almost 2yo. They are in 4t but that's typical for him! I agree, I wasn't blown away by most of the boys clothing.
pear / 1788 posts
Stuff runs big! Which I like. But the pants run a bit short, so my tall skinny girl usually has a baggy waist. It's cute stuff, and good price.

I got jeans and t shirts for my son and we love the fit and quality!
nectarine / 2436 posts
I'm finding it runs small, with a tight belly band. Very poor quality leggings I thought.
pomegranate / 3314 posts
It's okay, but not really my style. I prefer more classic looking things, but I do have an opinionated 4 year old daughter and she loves the bright, loud prints. For that reason and the cost, I don't have a problem with getting an item here or there for her.
ETA: I do think they have some really cute shoes, though!

So far I've being feeling meh about the big boys sizes. I miss the old stuff.
pear / 1593 posts
@wrkbrk: we have bought several henley style tees and I love them (toddler sizes)! They are soft, and no wash wear so far. We have also gotten a few bottoms, his khakis are fine, nothing special. The sweats/joggers are soft and super comfy, and have great details for the price point to make them look less basic.
I think it all runs big compared to Circo, but especially the bottoms.
grapefruit / 4455 posts
@pachamama: really? I feel like they've held up better than most! But dd doesn't wear them as often as her solid colors. What brand do you like? Did is in leggings all the time, so I'm always looking!
nectarine / 2436 posts
@2littlepumpkins: I like Osh Kosh so far (they're narrower and fit my guy better) and Old Navy jeans and leggings have been great! And Gap bodysuit jumper things!
pomelo / 5791 posts
@wrkbrk: I think it's ok for the boys stuff. We've only bought it for our older son (he's 3.5) and not the baby. I prefer the darker colors that they've been showing for him. I was impressed with the quality of the sweatshirts and pants, and that's all we've gotten so far.
I miss the boys Circo cargo "sweat"pants. They were sweatshirt material (without the fuzz inside, if that makes sense). They had reinforced knees, were slim cut so they didn't look sloppy, and held up SO well. I'm so sad that they don't have them anymore. They were both mine and my sons favorite.

Yes. Both of my girls are dressed head to toe (minus undies and socks) in Cat & Jack today.
grapefruit / 4455 posts
@pachamama: I like osh kosh too (and caters for baby but not as much with the leggings.) I kind of feel like the ON haven't held up that well compared to the others, but we dress dd in ON for places she's not exactly going to be keeping clean and gentle on clothes.
