I do because I love staying home! I just don't like cooking, but I prepare lots of snacks..... And alcohol. We used to entertain a fair amount bk - before kids. Now we have play dates instead.

Hate it. It totally stresses me out between all the cleaning and food making.

We love having company over and try to have some sort of get together at least twice a year. Our pastor's wife once commented that we have more parties than anybody she knows...not really, she's just invited to all of the ones that we have! We love having guests even if our apartment is tiny.

Yes, I love feeding and boozing people up, and we don't do it nearly often enough anymore

I love it as long as it's not TOO many people. Otherwise it stresses me out.

I would MUCH rather host at my house than go somewhere else. I have hosted lots of parties at our house that have been 50+ people (and we do NOT have a large home by any means, but a nice sized back yard so we can put people out there when it's nice...aka we don't host in the winter haha)
I love to cook (and honestly think I do a better job than other people LOL!!) and it gives me a reason to clean the bejesus out of my house

I do, but I hate cleaning the house beforehand, so we only do a big party once or twice a year. Smaller, more impromptu get-togethers are fine because they require less cleaning!

I love it but we don't do it nearly that often anymore because we don't have as many friends here.

kinda sorta. i really enjoy spending one-on-one time with another couple over a small dinner party. the dinner itself is always great. it's the whole day of preparation i don't like as much. my husband is the cook and obviously wants to make a nice dinner, so he usually ends up in the kitchen all day and we don't really get to hang out.
