I don't! The restaurants are always super crowded and I don't like how people spend money because they're expected to (flowers, chocolates, cards). I guess it helps the economy though? We usually celebrate Valentine's Day the week before.

I work with elementary students, so I think it's a sweet holiday. I usually just request that DH makes me salmon for dinner, but flowers are always appreciated.

Kinda. I thinks it's cheesy and ridiculous, but as a teacher of little kids, I always get lots of sweet presents! I love to watch the kids give out valentines!

I think the idea is sweet, especially for kids. I refuse to go out on the 14th though because it's a zoo everywhere.

I do! I like all of the commercial holidays. Any reason to celebrate.

I like it. I think it's fun to make valentines and sweets in the middle of winter when the weather is usually not so great. Plus I can count on DH to bring home nice flowers.

Yes and no. I think love should be celebrated everyday and not just on Valentine's day but it's fun to get the cute greeting cards from kids.
