I like the way tights look (especially cute patterned ones!), but I HATE wearing them!! I feel like a stuffed sausage in them 
I never think the sizing charts on the package are correct. I'm short but a bit chunky, so I have to get the larger sizes and then they are too long!! haha.

i like them, though i've always hated my butt, so i never wore them too much. plus DH revealed to me he doesn't like them. But i bought a maternity pair since i got pregnant and i love wearing them. so comfortable. i just bought a bigger size and a huge sweater that covers everything and it's my coziest outfit right now.

It's the opposite for me: I like wearing them, I hate the way they look on me! So I mainly wear them at home. I'm wear them with a long sweater/tunic, but I look kinda funky but I still wear it cause it's so winter weather friendly.

I love tights! I like that they squeeze my hips and tummy in just a little without feeling sausage like (thanks, spanx). Tights with tall boots weather is my very favorite. I think they fit me better because I'm tall, though.
I think there might be two different meanings of 'tights' going on though-- I mean the kind that are like very thick pantyhose, but it sounds like other people mean leggings (like running tights). I also like those, but NOT as pants. Leggings are like super thick, footless, tights, meant to be worn with short dresses and really really long shirts. Tops must cover crotches in leggings, unless you are actually running at the gym. Or, well, unless you have super awesome legs

I like tights, but lots of my pairs of tights always end up falling down and then you have that awful gaping feeling that @sorrycharlie was talking about. Even some of my footless tights do that.
For some reason I never have that problem with leggings.

I love tights! Especially spanx tights! I love that I don't have to worry about how my bare legs look, and dark tights are slimming. I also feel more confident showing *a bit* more leg when wearing tights.
