I wore my old 4.5inch booties the other day and was dying within a minute. This old mom of 2 bod of mine can't handle high heels anymore.
I wasn't sure how I felt about wedge boots, but I found a really cute pair and just got it in the mail.
LOVE them! And they're so comfy.
Wedges FTW.

Yes, love them! I have one pair of black leather knee-high wedge boots and one gray suede lace-up wedge booties. You're right, they are SO comfy!

@MrsSCB: booties. I did see a pair of ninewest I liked on 6pm.com but just never pulled the plug. Raining season is going to start soon so I'll be living in my winter/rain boots going forward.

I like low wedges a lot, but don't care for high ones. I always feel wobbly and off-balance in them.

@chopsuey: I had a pair almost exactly like that and I LOVED them. I had to stop wearing them because they fell apart from being worn so much. I still love my heels, but I highly recommend wedges.

I think they are really cute! I thought about getting a pair but I'm already a giant so I typically shy away from any kind of heel.
