Um... some days yes, some days no. He is a great teacher and has taught me so much about my job. We also usually agree on how everything should be done in our department. However he can have some INSANELY annoying habits that drive me up the walls! (ex: pacing by my office and always looking in, mood swings, he also sometimes says inappropriate things about my hair/makeup/wardrobe/etc.)

@MrsH: haha my husband is his own boss and often tells me what a jerk his "boss" is. LOL

We're going through an org change here at my office, and I'm so glad. I wasn't a fan of my old boss. He is a typical salesy/schmoozy guy who will act like your best friend but hold you down as much as he can. I've been under him for 5 years and have gone nowhere despite my very big strides in accomplishments.

Now that the reorg happened, I love my new boss. She was part of one of our companies that we acquired and moved gracefully into this role. She is really highly respected and is very loyal to her employees.

Absolutely love her. We worked together as equals before she was promoted so we were already quite close. She's everything someone could want in a boss & I honestly don't have a bad word to say about her. Lucked out.

Love my current boss. She's so nice and easy to talk to. I wish she was in my local office!

I love my boss. He is pretty easy going. He's extremely smart and I learn a lot from him. He always backs up his department and stands behind everyone and will own up to his mistakes instead of trying to throw someone under the bus. He's all around a very good guy and very caring and understanding.

I *puffyheartwithglitter* love my boss. If she weren't my boss I'm pretty sure we'd be friends outside of work because we just get along so very well. She is one of the main reasons I haven't tried looking for a job closer to home. I really don't want to work for anyone else but her!

There are some major things I don't like about my boss, but he allows me to come and go as I please so long as I get all my work done. He's also somewhat agreed to let me work 2 days from home when I have kids. So, ummm., as a lawyer, I would be dumb to leave.

@2PeasinaPod: lol. Yea. He's from a very chauvinistic era of work behaviour. I blame it mostly on that. Not that that is any excuse! However, I am also shy and new in the work world so I haven't exactly grown my backbone yet. Especially compared to someone like him. I also hear gems about how I have insane bags under my eyes and I must be tired and/or sick. Those are fun, especially if I'm feeling good that day. Thank you, boss, for bringing me down a notch!

Yes! She is amazing. She makes the work environment so great. She is positive, a young mom, motivating etc... I am actually switching supervisors (boooo!!) but I've heard good things about my new boss too.

I really like my department head. She's supportive and approachable.

I like my principle at my new school a lot. He can be tough, but so far I've never seen him ask us to do something that we shouldn't be doing anyway. And he's been SUPER nice and understanding about my appointments, etc--which is really something because finding subs for teachers is a pain and my old principle used to make us miserable about it if we asked.

My new mgr is pretty cool. He doesn't pass on stress or gossip and gives due dates. I have yet to be evaluated by him, but that will seal the deal for me.
