I do, it just makes me feel safe if the doors are locked. Do you lock your doors when you are home during the day, or just at night or when you leave?

Only if it's just P and I here and we're going to be upstairs for awhile. Otherwise G is usually going in & out playing outside so it stays unlocked.

Always. Even though there are signs posted for 'no solicitation' in the neighborhood, we get them pretty frequently, and one recently was arrested for outstanding warrants! You betcha I lock my doors!

Absolutely! I usually leave the alarm off during the day though; it goes on after dark.

I never used to but now I have A I have our doors locked all the time. I'm super paranoid.

I used to until we got our pup a few years ago. Now I'm not as vigilant because I know he will bark to alert me to any sounds (not just the bell or knocking) outside the house! Kind of annoying but it makes me feel safe. I can't sleep without him, haha.

The doors are always locked. Sometimes we forget to close the garage, and I'm so lucky that I live in a good neighborhood. An open garage is pretty much an open invitation to rob the house (not that I have anything valuable).

I do but only out of habit. We had to lock the door in our appt just to keep it shut and the habit moved to the house.

Rarely. I probably should, but my town is so small and sleepy I don't usually feed the need. I do sometimes lock it after the sun goes down (before DH comes home) and always before bed, out of habit.

I do, partially out of habit, and mostly now because our building is weird, and if someone comes through the front door of the building, the door to our unit on the 2nd floor will blow open if it isn't locked. It freaks out our dog and makes her go nuts, so locked door it is...

If we don't leave the house, the doors are locked from the night before, but if we do, then we usually leave the garage door unlocked with the garage doors closed all day. We lock the patio door now everytime we let the dog out now to make it a habit cause there are many times we forget to lock that when we go to sleep or to go work. And we never use the front door so that just stays locked.

Always. Which is funny since growing up they were always unlocked. My parents still leave their doors unlocked.
